Jews attacked in New York Subway -- Americans do nothing, Muslim Bangladeshi helps

What do you know, wishing someone a Happy Hannukah on the last night of the holiday apparently earned a young New Yorker a broken nose and a split lip. It could have cost him and his girlfriend a lot more, since they were attacked by a group of about 10 anti-Semites on a Subway train last night.

Everyone else in the car did absolutely nothing. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

Everyone, that is, except for a Bangladeshi Muslim student who jumped in the fight when the girl was also attacked, giving Adler enough time to pull the emergency brake to summon the police.

Wake up, folks. Watch the Borat video carefully. Anti-semitism is alive and well, even in the United States of America. And that's why we need to defend our land, Israel. This time, if something happens, we'll have a place to go.

Australian Jews...it's time to go home!

Attacks against Australian Jews have reached a record high in 2007.

You might think the attacks are bieng perpetrated by Muslim immigrants, but actually, nope!

Menachem Vorchheimer was attacked by white Australian Rules football players, as he walked with his two children, simply for dressing like a Jew.

Time to make aliya!

Update: Israeli's murder sponsored by the Israeli and U.S. governments

So, apparently the murderers of the random person driving an Israeli car that I posted about earlier are Palestinian Fatah Policemen. Yep, the same people that Israel and the U.S. have been giving money to and arming, in order to strengthen Israel's "partners for peace" against Hamas.

When will the madness end? Clearly the Palestinian Arab leadership is not ready for peace talks, and large sums of cash.

The Zionist Jewish Israeli Kaffiyeh

Two Israeli designers have made a new Jewish version of the kaffiyeh! It is similar to the black Arabic keffiyeh but instead is blue and white, with six-pointed stars instead of lines and circles for the pattern. Although one could hardly call it new, since Jews the world over and Arab Jews in particular have worn headwraps and turbans for centuries. After the rise of Islam, in some countries, it was a priviledge restricted to Muslims only.
I really like the style of the kaffiyah and in fact I own the black Arabic version (got it in East Yerushalayim for a cheap 3$.). My dad yelled at me when I walked around Jerusalem wearing it around my neck! For good reason, too: unfortunately, I've found that it has come to be a symbol for Israel's destruction and Arab domination over Eretz Israel. This wasn't the case until the 1st intifada. In fact, Israeli Hagana fighters would often wear the kaffiyeh when they went into the Negev desert. It is a light cotton garment that is useful for protection from the sun and the cold winds. This new kaffiyah gives a powerful message to our Arab cousins: we are here to stay, and we are more alike than you think! Too bad it costs like $25...Anyone want to make me a Hannuka present? :)

Paris Jews face growing anti-Semitism

"Jewish residents of neighborhood mainly populated by Muslims subjected to repeated assaults of anti-Semitic nature."
"The neighborhood had already experienced a tragedy linked to racial tensions four years ago, when a Muslim resident of the area murdered a Jewish resident, 23-year-old Sebastian Selam. "Mom, I have killed my Jew and I'm going to heaven," the killer told his mother after he committed the crime."

Ilan Halimi was not the end....All French Jews should make Aliya ASAP!

I remember when I visited France this summer and I visited to the Grand Synagogue in Marseilles. It was a beautiful place with great acoustics. But when I was walking around the synagogue, I was stopped several times and asked what I was doing here and whether I was Jewish (it was an Orthodox synagogue and I was wearing a sleeveless dress.) Outside of the synagogue, I said "Shalom" to a Orthodox couple, but they looked at me fearfully and hurried away.
I think one of the biggest obstacles is money for these Jews. I talked to one lady at the synagogue who said she would love to make aliya, but she simply did not think she could afford it as a single mother.
In Nice, I met a Parisian Jew and to my surprise, he said they "have no problems." How can people be so deeply in denial? Maybe it is the Parisian pride, because the Marsellies Jews warned me not to wear my star-of-David in public. The synagogue in Nice would not even let me in, and told me to come back during visiting hours (although clearly, someone was in there. Guess they were too concerned about security).

Swastika carved into 17-year-old girl's skin in Germany

The girl was trying to help a 6-year old Jewish child from the former Soviet Union who was bieng harrased by neo-Nazis.

This is exactly why Jews need to stop moving to Germany from the FSU and move to ISRAEL. Russian Jews move to Germany because that government offers an aid package to Jewish immigrants. However, the Neo-Nazi movement is gaining ground in Germany and it is not safe for Jews to live there long-term.

Random Israeli killed by Palestinian Arab terrorists due to peace summit

A 29 year old Israeli was gunned down in his car as some terrorists drove past him.

"Shortly after the attack, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Fatah's military wing, announced that it was assuming responsibility for event. A spokesman for the organization said that the terror attack was "an act of protest against the Annapolis conference and a response to Israeli crimes"."

I am worried...last time there was a peace summit, a lot of violence (the second intifada) broke out in Israel. It seems like whenever the Arabs and Jews have a shot at making a peace deal, the Islamic fundamentalists attack Israeli civilians...
The truth is, these people want the peace summit to fail. They don't want Palestinians to be happy with just Gaza., The West Bank, and even Jerusalem...
They want all of Israel's land, and if peace is made and Arabs begin to live better lives, they will lose the support of the Arab people for this insane genocidal goal.

No wonder no one has hope for Annapolis...

Cute video about why the Israeli army kicks so much ass...

And the reason is...because they use female combat instructors! The guys work so hard to impress the ladies during training that they become top-notch soldiers! :)

Expelled Jews hold deeds on Arab lands

Good job JPost! The world needs to hear more about these refugees:

"The government needs to bring up the issue of hundreds of thousands of Jews who left their homes in Arab countries following the establishment of the State of Israel as part of any future peace agreement with the Palestinians, the president of the World Organization of Jews from Arab Countries said Thursday.

About 850,000 Jews fled Arab countries after Israel's founding in 1948, leaving behind assets valued today at more than $300 billion, said Heskel M. Haddad.
He added that the New York-based organization has decades-old property deeds of Jews from Arab countries on a total area of 100,000 sq.km. - which is five times the size of the State of Israel. "

I wrote a Zionist poem

I am in love with you
I thirst for sand not water
I am in love with you
I thirst for sand not water

Stars are many, nights are few
I want to make your old soul new
I want to touch your heart of stone
And warm it with my hands alone

I thirst for sand not water

To watch you wake and rise
To watch you stretch up toward the skies
To see the sun in your gold eyes

I thirst for sand not water

Your blackest errors I’ll erase
To nighttime terrors I’ll give chase
And hold to mine your tired face

I thirst for sand not water

Dreams are many, days are few
And yet I am in love with you
Until I’m wrapped in white and blue
I’ll thirst for sand, not water.

GA: a Jewish Convention

I recently attended a conference called the General Assembly where I got the idea for this blog. Here are some photos from the conference. "One people, One destiny." All Jews are a big family, and our father is Jacob called Israel. We have a special mission in this world: to bring God into the world and to be a light to all nations through good deeds. After singing the American and Canadian anthems, we sang Hatikva, the national anthem of Israel. Hatikva means "THE HOPE," and its talking about the hope we had for 2000 years that we will return to our homeland, Israel, and rebuild our country.

A girl who was a soldier in the Israeli army spoke and told us about how a special program helped her attend the Technion. That's basically the Harvard of Israel! Israel is very good at Hi-tech...in fact, cell phone technology, voice mail, AIM, ICQ, the Intel pentium processor, and many other hi-tech things were all developed in Israel!

Howard Dean also spoke at the conference. He basically told all the young people that all Jews should be Democrats. This is total B.S.! It pissed me off so much. While many Democrats support Israel, the conservatives and the Republican party is way more supportive. Look at this figure that was shown during a talk about Israel advocacy:

I firmly believe that anyone who supports Israel, Jew or not, should vote for Rudy this year. Clinton was wishy-washy on Israel, and I'm sure his wife will be the same way. Conservative Christians read the Bible, and so they know that the land of Israel belonged to the Jewish people. The right-wing Americans also understand that there is no such thing as moral equivalency between a suicide bomber attack that targets civilians on purpose and a retaliatory attack on Hamas militants in Gaza. Sometimes, there is a clear right...and a clear wrong...and most liberals just don't get that!

What is Zionism?

Zionism is a movement that believes that Jews have a right to a homeland in the land of Israel. For many people, including me, it also means that Jews should MOVE to the land of Israel -- make Aliyah -- if they can.

After living in Israel for thousands of years, the Jewish country was destroyed by the Romans about 2000 years ago. They carried away the exiles and the treasures of the Temple after a long and bloody revolt -- The stubborn Israelites just wouldn't give up their freedom until the bitter end! The Romans changed the name from Israel to "Palestine," after the extinct race of Philistines, to erase any connection of the Israelites to our homeland. For the past 2000 years, the Jews have been wandering all over the world. We prayed every day facing the land of Israel and Jerusalem, the ancient capital of Israel. Each year we concluded every holiday with the words "Next Year In Jerusalem." Even at weddings, the happiest day of someone's life, a glass is broken by the groom to symbolize the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans. We have never forgotten our homeland, and finally, we are beginning to return to it.

Sixty years ago, The State of Israel was born after the U.N. declared partition of the British Mandate of "Palestine". The partition created a Jewish state and an Arab state next to each other. While the Jews readily accepted the U.N. resolution, all the Arab countries (Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon) pledged to attack the tiny new country. Miraculously, Israel's makeshift army, composed in part by many Holocaust survivors, made it through.
Since that day, Israelis have fought for survival many times and made it through.
Today, a new type war is being waged on Israel. The country that was attacked 3 times by multiple armies intent on destroying it survived, so the enemies decided to use a new strategy -- cunning instead of force. Suddenly, Israel is shown throughout the world as an "aggressor", who steals land from "Palestinian" people. In fact, Arab countries kicked out nearly a million Jewish refugees into Israel, appropriating their land and possessions. Israel absorbed the penniless Jews from Arab lands. However, the Arab countries didn't help absorb the Arab refugees, who mostly fled Israel of their own free will during the war after partition! These unfortunate people are now used as bargaining chips against Israel, while talk of any reparations for Jewish refugees from Arab countries is virtually non-existent.
